Products

Computer Hardware & Servers

We stay up at night looking for the best products to leverage your time and effectiveness with technology. These are some of the companies whose products we’ve chosen as best of class providers to that end.

Apple

We have been providing support for Apple Computers since the early 1990's. This is the center of our business. Our extensive background and experience with Apple products means we are more than ready to tackle your Apple issues.

Note: We do not sell Apple products or parts. Apple now limits the resale of its products to only its own stores and a very few large volume resellers. We regularly work with Apple to fulfill customer orders as their IT representative.

Synology

When Apple stopped making the Xserve file server it left a huge gap in the Apple ecosystem for office customers. After years of vetting possible solutions we found Synology to be a great match for customers wishing to have an on premise file server. Cost is reasonable, and support for Apple devices is very good. With Synology’s latest updates to Synology Drive you can run your own shared file hosting that works very much like Dropbox. Ask us how this might work for you.

Promise Technology

Promise technologies is a long time Apple partner who makes mass storage devices aimed right at the Apple user. From network storage to devices for the single user, the Promise Pegasus line of products is known for speed and safety. If you need large fast systems for networking or Thunderbolt connectivity Promise is worth considering.

Networking

This is a partial list of network products where we have unique, in depth expertise that covers a wide range of end user needs

Cisco Meraki

For those who want the best in computer network management, reliability and uptime along with relative simplicity, in our opinion, no one can beat Meraki. They offer cloud based management in a brilliant system for configuring and monitoring networks. Their hardware (routers, switches, AP’s & cameras) are best of class in performance, and 24/7 support is included. For smaller less critical networks Meraki Go is a perfect solution.

Ubiquiti Networks

Ubiquiti Unifi came on the networking scene to disrupt the pricing models of networking hardware with much lower pricing; they succeeded. The tradeoff is no sales staff & very limited support and documentation. Sometimes new features are offered before they are truly complete. They are a company for IT nerds not non tech savvy end users. Having said that Unifi’s pricing is excellent, and their “cloud” management interface is quite good. We don't normally recommend Unifi for mission critical office networks, but it can be perfect for the small office or home network. And their integrated camera, door access, and phone systems can provide a single vendor solution for many problems at an amazing low price.

Cloud Services

Cloud services includes everything from email hosting, web servers, and your computer backup.

Cloudflare

We like Cloudflare for domain registration, DNS and security for websites and email. The prices are excellent, and some services are free. For those who want more in-depth security, caching and email protection all those services are under one roof. But for simple sites their domain registration and DNS are outstanding, simple and affordable.g

Google Workspace

Google is everywhere and many offices choose Google Workspace to manage their office email and collaboration infrastructure. From email to shared calendars, contacts and files Google can be a one stop solution. We are Google resellers and experts in many of their products.

BackBlaze

Backing up your files is essential. We suggest a multi-tiered 3-2-1 approach with redundancy. Nothing would be worse than to lose some files and then discover that your only backup had failed. As part of a multi-tier solution we recommend having at least one cloud based backup. BackBlaze is fast, simple and affordable for both end users or with B2B services for servers.

Dropbox

When it comes to cloud based file sharing Dropbox is one of the first names that comes to mind. It seems they all but invented this space. For you individually or as a team we can set you up with a Dropbox solution that makes sense for you.

Ring Central

Ring Central is a leading cloud based professional phone system for your office. Gone are the days of separate wiring for phones and computers and expensive phone systems mounted on a wall in a closest. With Ring Central everything is in the cloud, and all you need is a network connected desk phone or a phone app running on your computer or mobile device. Call trees, hunt groups, forwarding and virtual assistants are all programed by us or you as you so desire.

CrashPlan

CrashPlan is a great cloud backup solution for users that need an all in one solution with granular control over what's backed up and for how long. By default files deleted can be set to never delete from the backup. We are a Crashplan provider with a cloud dashboard that makes it easier for IT to monitor devices and know when problems arise.

Software

This is a partial list of software products where we have unique, in depth expertise. We are reseller partners for many of these.

Apple Software

From 29 years experience supporting Mac OS to supporting Apple's newer built-in Apps like Photos, Pages, Numbers and Keynote we have you covered. We know a thing or two about Final Cut as well.

Daylite CRM

Daylite is an amazing Mac based CRM. It’s one we use ourselves for scheduling, and managing contacts, projects and proposals. A distinguishing benefit is the ability to connect contacts with appointments and to do’s in order to gain a rich connected history of interactions.

Microsoft Office for Mac

Did you know Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint were first released on the Mac? Office is the most common application package in most offices.

Filemaker Pro

Filemaker is likely the easiest database software to use to create powerful database solutions. It has grown a long way from those early Apple days to become a serious data organizer with cloud capabilities.

Adobe

Graphic artists love the Mac for its fidelity to color and quality graphics, and Adobe Creative Cloud is what they most often depend on to create and refine print and online media.

Point of Sale

The number of point of sale options for restaurants seems endless. Below are some POS systems we like after reviewing many of the top brands.

Toast

We have detailed experience with Toast. In 2020 we set up a customer restaurant in Toast doing the full configuration ourselves. And we continue to tweak and make changes as needed. Toast is a great full featured system that should probably be more thought of as a restaurant management system. Proper configuration and implementation is key, and we can do that for you. Toast provides their own Android hardware.

Rezku

Rezku caught our interest several years ago as a new up and coming POS. Their footprint is small but growing quickly. We like the feedback we see on Youtube and elsewhere about excellent support, and their pricing model is very reasonable. Rezku is iPad based.
