Infinite Resources, Inc. dba Maclanta takes the privacy of our customers seriously. We do not collect customer information to share with 3rd parties unless it is required in the process of securing a vendor bid or in the purchase of a product as would be required by the vendor. We do not collect data to sell to third parties. We do sometimes provided links for users to use to purchase products that may inform the vendor that you were referred by us. A commission may be paid to us for such referrals should you purchase their product as a result.

In the course of IT work secure information that is given to us to use in order to carry out our duties is stored in local databases secured by firewalls and encryption where ever possible. We consider security and privacy to be an essential part of our service to you.

In the course of our work, we often need to establish remote sessions to customer computers in order to provide support or configuration. Our policy is to ask permission before initiating any such session at the time of initiation or as you might specify. We use remote access software that will visually notify you if anyone is on your computer. And by default it requires you to read to us a current temporaray password to allow that to happen. For those who would like us to be able to connect at will, such as while away at lunch, we can prearrange that ability for your convenience.

We recognize that different companies have different IT security and privacy requirements as well as differing building access or online security requirements. We will work with you to meet or exceed your established policies. For less formal organizations without formal policies we will apply common sense care to keep you secure, and if you need help establishing a security policy we will guide you through the process.

In the process of carrying out our duties we also recognize our duty to vendors and manufacturers that we may represent. We take care to follow 3rd party provider policies as they require. We do not disclose information to end users that is prohibited to be disclosed by such parties, and we seek to represent them and their products in the fashion that they require.
